My favorite category has always been inwards for some reason! It was a category that came more naturally to me and was always very dependable.

You're the reason I started this youtube channel. Hopefully, you are very curious and want to learn as much as possible. I used to screen record olympians and put it side by side with my dives to look for the big differences. This helped me a lot! I am working on finding ways to connect more coaches and divers here soon, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, do your best to coach yourself and look at your dives as objectively as possible. Go to diving camps, record your dives at practice to self coach or send to a coach to get reviewed

Oh if I had a dollar for every time I've been asked this question... The truth is, you'll always be a little scared of something in this sport. My challenge to you is how you can reframe that thought to work for you! The best athletes are able to take their fear and turn it into excitement and a reason to go towards their goal, not shy away from it. So next time you feel that fear creep in, recognize it, but let it know who's in charge. And what's the worst that will happen? A smack? That's diving for ya.
